Reasons Beneficiaries Disenroll From Medicare Advantage
A study published in the June Health Affairs finds that Medicare Advantage (MA) members are most likely to disenroll from their MA plan due to four main reasons: difficulty accessing care, low plan generosity, dissatisfaction with care quality, and the type of plan (HMO vs. PPO). The study looked at data from the 2015 to 2020 Medicare Current Beneficiary Survey.
